About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have practicing psychotherapy with adults and couples for nearly 20 years.
I earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree (BA) in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I also earned my Masters in Social Welfare Degree (MSW) from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a concentration in mental health.
My career started by interning for community mental health agencies that served various populations, such as; adults within the correctional system, unhoused individuals, suicide prevention, and adults living with HIV/AIDS. Upon graduation, I worked for the Department of Children and Family Services, including the Children of Sexual Abuse Program. I also worked for the National Council of Jewish Women as a supervisor and as the Talkline Program Coordinator.
I have extensive training in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. I have been providing psychotherapy for individuals, families, and couples in private practice for over 14 years.
